Nothing beats effort!! Talent will get you very far in both basketball and in life, but we’ll take players who work hard and give maximum effort over lazy talent anyday.
Ubuntu! A concept championed by the 2008 NBA Champion Boston Celtics. It means, I can only be my best if my teammate is at their best. We teach our players to be teammates on and off the court, to be encouraging and helpful, and to use their voice for good. We are a FAMILY!
Strive to get better. Take every drill, every shot, every pass and make it better than the last one. That’s how you improve and make an impact. Focus on the details and truly work on your game, both physical and mental.
ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIPOUR COACHES
Our Founder and Head Coach, George McCracken, is a life-long student of the game. Coach George is currently the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at St. John’s the Baptist School in Peabody, MA and the Junior Varsity Boys Coach at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, MA. His teams are known for the their high pace offense, pressure defense, and ability to quickly adapt to different styles of play when necessary. The St. John’s team is the current NSCESBL & Eastern Mass Catholic League champions. Over his coaching career, Coach George has won nearly 80% of his games.
In addition to his coaching career, Mr. McCracken is also the President & CEO of MPX Cyber, Inc. a cybersecurity and IT services firm based in Peabody, MA.
